I've owned roughly 15 Coffee mugs over the last 10 years (Contigo, Trudeau, other Thermos, etc.), always searching for one that could keep my daily coffee hot for more than 2 hours. This is by far the best mug I have ever owned.
Pros:
The double-wall insulation keeps the coffee hot for HOURS on end. One trick I learned is that if you put boiling water in the mug for 5-10 Minutes prior to putting your coffee in, it will keep even longer, I'm talking upwards of 8 hours.
This is the 1st mug I've owned that is truly is leak - proof. I sometimes put milk and sugar in with my coffee. When I got this mug, I simply add both in and close it and shake it to stir, and have not had a single spill.
The cover to the mug also comes part in 5 pieces that are easy to disassemble and reassemble. I've had numerous mugs that end up with a bad smell because the top gets coffee or milk trapped in it and festers. This mug let's you take apart the cover and clean it thoroughly.
Cons:
To echo another review, the handle is the only weak point of the mug. I had it for 4 weeks and returned the mug twice because of broken handles, and gave up when the 3rd one broke and took it off. Hoping that Thermos redesigns this mug with a better handle in the future...this is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
Overall, great mug and despite the handle, will definitely purchase again in the future, highly recommended.

I picked this up at Target locally, and I too was a little concerned that the handle might be a problem. However after a month of daily use and going into the dishwasher (and getting droped a couple times), it performs great. Keeps things hot for 4-5 hours without a problem. Handle has held up well enough, although if you're concerned, they make a model without a handle. I've also seen models at Target recently in a steel grey color which they call "Smoke".
This is replacing my 10-year old Zojirushi Tuff Road which started to leak from the plastic seal, and this feels better made. I expect it will last a long time.
EDIT: 10/16/11... I've been using this over a year now, and it's been great. The handle has been a non-issue for me. No water has gotten stuck in it from the dishwasher. However, the paint has chipped badly. If I bought another one, I would just get the stainless steel, and mine is currently half blue and half stainless. For that reason I've dropped it down to 4 stars.
